Clinical Work

Since 2004 I am working as resident in the Department of Internal Medicine V of the UniversityHospital Heidelberg. In our clinic we predominantely treat patients with malignant diseases of the bone marrow, blood and lymph nodes.

In the beginning of 2007 I became a member of the newly founded “Taskforce AML”, whose area of resposibility lies in the therapeutic decisionmaking for patients with acute myeloic leukemia (AML), as well as in the recruitment and execution of new clinical trials.
One focus of our institute lies in the allogeneic stem cell transplantation, with over 80 transplantations per year we belong to the leading centers in germany.
