Astronomy

Canon Poweshot 720s on a Newton 150/1400, single shot with 1:125 though 25mm Plossl ocular

One can rarely elude the fascination of astronomical pictures. From my childhood days on I was interested in planets, nebulae, galaxies and starclusters. Although, after first experiences with the observation of the moon and planets in my teenage years, my small refractor telescope got dusty in the attic. Only in the past few years the “Astro-Fever” got me again. My fascination with space seems pretty obvious – being a member of the “generation golf” I have grown with TV-series and cinema blockbusters like StarTrek:Enterprise (NGE), Captain Future and Star Wars.
